Hero Ram and mass action entertainers specialist Boyapati Sreenu’s high-voltage action drama, Skanda, was released in cinemas worldwide on September 28 last year. Also starring actress Sreeleela as the female lead, the film couldn’t live up to the sky-high expectations of the actor-director’s combo and ended up as an average grosser at the box office.

However, Skanda is ruling the charts even after almost a year of its release. The film’s Hindi version, also titled Skanda, has surpassed the 100 million views milestone on YouTube. The film has also amassed a whopping 1.1 million likes within just a little over a month of its YouTube premiere. Skanda’s Hindi version was released on YouTube by WamIndia Movies on June 17, 2024.

Skanda had Bollywood starlet Saiee Manjrekar, senior hero Srikanth, Prince Cecil, and others in key roles. The film featured a soundtrack composed by Thaman. Srinivasa Chitturi bankrolled the movie under the Srinivasa Silver Screens banner.
