Several big stars across various industries are promoting pan-masala products. Netizens opine that big heroes should be morally responsible and shouldn’t promote such products that affect the health of the public. Young Hindi hero Karthik Aaryan, who has achieved good fame with promising films, says that he doesn’t like promoting pan-masala products and fairness creams.

Karthik Aaryan revealed that he turned down many such endorsements as he felt promoting them was morally wrong. Karthik Aaryan said, “I endorsed a face cream a long time ago, but didn’t continue advertising as I wasn’t convinced by it. I have received many such offers for endorsing brands, but I declined them. I can’t relate to supari and pan masala brands,, and I try to avoid them as much as possible,”

However, Karthik Aaryan didn’t criticize others who endorse such brands. He feels that everyone has their own way of thinking, and added that he aims to set a positive example in society with responsible advertising. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor will be next seen in Chandu Champion, which is the biopic of Indian former Paralympic gold medal winner Murlikant Petkar. The film, directed by Kabir Khan, releases on 14th June.
