He is not called one of India’s finest actors ever for nothing. Even after 6 decades into the art of movie making, legendary Tamil actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan continues to reign supreme amid intense competition. The 68-year-old actor had even delivered the industry hit, Vikram, last year. But, behind all his stardom, there’s a lot of carefully nurtured dedication and passion for his craft.
In a latest interview, Indian 2’s cinematographer Ravivarman revealed Kamal’s inspiring dedication levels. The ace lensman has said that during the recently concluded Tirupati schedule, Kamal Haasan used to wake up at 3.30 AM and hit the gym everyday. And by 5 am, Kamal used to be on set, where he used to sit patiently for 4 hours to get his Indian Thatha make-up done. Needless to say, very few actors of this generation match Kamal’s dedication.
Indian 2 will be released in summer next year, while Project K, the pan-India sci-fi thriller featuring Kamal in a negative role, will be hitting theaters on January 12, 2024. Kamal will soon land in San Diego to participate in the Comic-Con event to launch Project K’s title and other promo material.
