His latest outing, Family Star, directed by Parasuram, ended up as a massive flop at the box office. Also, Vijay was trolled for agreeing to be part of a controversial scene. He is currently busy shooting for his next with Gowtham Tinnanuri. The young actor plays a cop in this as-yet-untitled film.

Here is an interesting tidbit for all the admirers of Vijay Deverakonda. The actor missed being part of Ravi Babu’s successful horror thriller Avunu. Vijay Deverakonda was supposed to play Poorna’s husband in the film, but Ravi Babu could not cast Vijay due to some communication issues between the duo. Harshavardhan Rane played the male lead in Avunu, and the film was both a critical and commercial success.

Ravi Babu himself revealed this unknown fact in an interview. Interestingly, Ravi Babu was the one who introduced Vijay Deverakonda to the silver screen with the rom-com entertainer Nuvvila. Ravi Babu is currently busy with a film called Rush, for which he served as the creator. It will be released soon on ETV Win.
