Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan is a box office monster, but his last few films fell short of the expectations. The actor has now teamed up with South Indian director AR Murugadoss for a project called Sikandar. AR Murugadoss’ form also has not been great lately, and he is looking to make a solid comeback with Sikandar.
A rumor regarding this project has been going viral on social media for the past couple of days. The gossip had it that Sikandar is the remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar, which itself was directed by AR Murugadoss. Fans of Salman Khan were taken aback with this speculation, but the fact is that there is absolutely no truth in it. It looks like the rumor was intentionally created by gossip mongers to bring some negativity to the project.
Sikandar is indeed a straight film, and AR Murugadoss is said to have penned a solid characterization for Salman Khan that matches his mass image. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead, and Satyaraj has been roped in for a key role. The action entertainer will have a good amount of drama as well as per the reports. Sikandar is being mounted on a massive budget by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
