While Bollywood is going through a lean phase, King Khan Shah Rukh gave an industry hit like Pathaan and brought back smiles on the faces of exhibitors. This time, he is coming up with a proper masala film, Jawan, directed by Atlee. The film is having an insane craze all over, and yesterday, the film’s trailer was dropped.

The trailer took the hype to the next level, and the advance bookings opened a few hours ago. Within a short time, the movie sold nearly 80000 tickets at the national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) for day one. The film is trending better than Pathaan and is expected to open with more than 60 crores nett in the Hindi belt.

For comparison, Pathan sold more than 5 lakh tickets for the opening day, and it seems Jawan will cross this number very easily. If the movie manages to get a positive talk, SRK will add another industry hit to his tally. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist, and the ever-gorgeous Nayanthara is the female lead. Jawan will open in cinemas from 7th September.
