Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is smashing the box office left, right, and center. On the opening day, the film made close to 200 crores, and it is the third biggest opener in Indian cinema after RRR and Baahubali. When it comes to North American collections, the mythological sci-fi entertainer is earning huge bucks.
Kalki 2898 AD earned the highest-ever collections among Indian films for North American premiers with a gross of $3.8 million. The movie is continuing the solid run in this region, and as per the latest update, the Prabhas starrer earned $5.56 million by the completion of day one, which is also an all-time record.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Saswata Chatterjee, Pasupathy, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. Ashwini Dutt produced Kalki 2898 AD under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Santosh Narayanan composed the tunes.
