Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is wreaking havoc at the box office. After raking in over 550 crore gross during its extended first weekend, the movie is having a phenomenal hold on the weekdays. The film is creating a rage in North America and North India. Nag Ashwin directed this mythological sci-fi entertainer. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan played vital roles.
Nag Ashwin has now praised his hero to the sky as the movie is running riot at the box office. The director stated, “This man sitting casually there is the reason for all this, unbiasedly the biggest box office star of this era… He gave our production the confidence to do what we did, he gave me the freedom to do what I did… and so many intelligent inputs helped guide the film to what it is… everyone’s darling, our Bhairava, and now the world’s K____.”
Nag Ashwin calling Prabhas the biggest box-office star of this era isn’t an overstatement since the actor has consistently delivered big at the ticket windows. But what caught the attention of fans was the last line, which kept them guessing. Is Nag Ashwin indirectly referring to the character that Prabhas played in the movie to avoid the spoiler? Or is he hinting that Prabhas will essay Kalki in the second part? Only time will tell us that.
