Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s pan-India sci-fi drama, Kalki 2898 AD, continues to create new records at the box office worldwide. The film has had a fantabulous outing over the extended opening weekend and entered the coveted Rs 500 crore club.
In its glorious run at the ticket counters across the USA and Canada, Kalki 2898 AD has set a rare record for any Indian film in these countries. Kalki has emerged as the first Indian movie to gross over $1 million for five consecutive days in North America. The film has collected a staggering $11.23 million so far and is all set to surpass the $12 million milestone by the end of the day.
Kalki, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Sobhana, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and others in prominent roles, is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Ashwini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Stay tuned for more updates on the film’s box office collection.
