The highly anticipated movie, Kalki 2898 AD, is just 10 days away from its grand release across the globe in multiple languages. Starring renowned Telugu actor Prabhas and directed by Nag Ashwin, the film features Deepika Padukone in a key role.
The trailer has generated significant buzz, raising expectations among fans. Recently, the makers announced the Bhairava Anthem, a promotional song featuring Prabhas and Diljit Dosanjh. Originally scheduled to be released last night, it was postponed to 11 AM today. However, the release has been delayed again, leaving fans devastated and unhappy with the promotion strategy.
Even Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Ashwatthama in the film, expressed his eagerness to watch the song by posting, “patiently waiting,” to which Nag Ashwin replied, “Thank you sir and everyone else for your patience… Things happen, delays happen… no excuses, but the whole team is really working nonstop… appreciate the support and understanding… #bhairavaanthem uploading.”
Although the song is expected to be released soon, Prabhas’s fans are concerned about the film’s box office success due to the minimal promotions with only 10 days left before the release. The team’s ability to build excitement through promotions is crucial at this point.
Also featuring Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Mrunal Thakur, Rajendra Prasad, Saswata Chatterjee, Pasupathy, and others in pivotal roles, Kalki 2898 AD is backed by Vyjayanthi Movies. Enhanced by Santhosh Narayanan’s musical prowess, the film will be released in 2D, 4DX, and IMAX formats on June 27, 2024.
