Sandalwood stalwart Shiva Rajkumar got emotional while addressing the media before leaving for his surgery in the USA on Thursday evening. The Bhairathi Ranagal star was visibly emotional while talking about the immense love and support showered upon him from his fans, family, and friends.

As per the latest reports, Shiva Rajkumar has been going through a major health condition. His surgery has been scheduled to take place on December 24 at the Miami Cancer Institute. Elaborating on the specifics of his treatment at the MCI, Shiva Rajkumar said that his doctor’s name is Murugesh N Manohar. “He is a very famous oncologist and has a good hand, a lucky hand. He assured me not to worry and told me the treatment would be a seamless procedure.”

While admitting that he is a bit nervous about leaving his family and fans for an extended period, Shiva Rajkumar assured all his anxious fans that everything is going smoothly and urged them not to worry. He went on to say that he would be flying back to Bengaluru on January 26 and that his wife Geetha and daughter Niveditha will accompany him during his treatment in the USA.

On the work front, Shiva Rajkumar is currently working on Uttarakaanda, 45, Bhairavana Kone Paata. He will also play Janhvi Kapoor’s father in Ram Charan’s RC16.
