Kollywood star Karthi is all set to join forces with Dream Warrior Pictures, the noted Tamil production house that bankrolled Karthi’s blockbuster action dramas, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (Khakee), and Kaithi (Khaidi). Tentatively titled Karthi29, the film has been formally announced this evening.

Karthi29 is being directed by the talented director Tamizh of the critically acclaimed Taanaakkaran fame. The intriguing announcement poster features a large ship, and the film is touted as a period drama to be made on a massive scale.

Karthi29’s shoot will commence soon, and the film is scheduled for its theatrical release in 2025. The pre-production work is currently underway in full swing. SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu are producing the movie in association with Ivy Entertainment and B4U Motion Pictures, headed by Ishan Saksena, Sunil Shah, and Raja Subramanian.
