With every update, the buzz around Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is skyrocketing. The recently released animated series Bujji and Bhairava gave us a hint on what to expect from this flick, which is a fusion of mythology and sci-fi. Nag Ashwin is the director. Kalki 2898 AD is the immediate release of Prabhas after the blockbuster Salaar.
The bookings in the US will begin on June 8, and in the recent tweet shared by the film’s US distributor regarding the pre-sales, it was mentioned that the movie will be 2 hours and 50 minutes long. We need to wait for the CBFC certificate for more clarity regarding the runtime.
The movie is scheduled for a grand release on June 27. While Amitabh Bachchan plays Ashwattama, the details of the roles essayed by Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani remain uncertain. The movie is made on a staggering budget of 600 crores. Vyjayanthi Movies bankrolled this tent-pole film. Santosh Narayanan composed the tunes.
