Superstar Rajinikanth recently underwent an elective procedure in his heart. A stent was placed in his aorta to treat swelling in a blood vessel. After the surgery, Rajini was kept under observation for two days at the hospital. The actor has been advised to take rest for a few days. The legendary actor will be next seen in Vettaiyan, which releases this Dusshera.

Apart from Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth has Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial Coolie in his pipeline. Recently, the media questioned Lokesh Kanagaraj about Thalaivar’s health condition. Lokesh Kanagaraj answered, “I spoke to Rajini sir, and he is recovering well. I want to clarify one thing. He informed our team well in advance that he would be undergoing treatment. Few YouTubers claimed that Rajini sir felt discomfort during Coolie’s shoot.”

Lokesh added, “It was startling to see false news spread all over YouTube. Sir’s health is more important to our team than the shooting. We would have halted the shoot if he had complained of any discomfort on the sets. I request YouTubers and media not to panic people. Try to get the full picture and stop spreading fake narratives. Rajini sir will be back on Coolie sets from October 15th.”
