Lucky Baskhar is the next theatrical release of Dulquer Salmaan. This Telugu language film is directed by Venky Atluri. It is slated for a grand release on Diwali day, i.e., October 31st. The film will have special premieres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the evening of October 30th. The theatrical trailer will be out on October 21st.

Venky Atluri has started promoting the film. In a recent interview, the director revealed some interesting details about Lucky Baskhar. He said, “This film is going to be a new genre for us. The teaser would have given you an idea that Lucky Baskhar is about the banking sector and its scams. This is something which hasn’t been attempted before on big screens both in South cinema and Bollywood.”

Venky Atluri added, “I am very confident that the film will please the audience. The story happens around the late 1980s to early 1990s. In today’s world, it is impossible to do a bank scam because everything is digitalized. Back then, transactions were registered in ledgers, and it was very easy to do scams by manipulating the records.”

“Lucky Baskhar deals with the scams and manipulations that happened in the banking sector in the 1980s. It also depicts how fraudsters used to get away with their wrongful acts. Dulquer Salmaan’s character will have grey shades,” stated the director. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead.
