Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan and Tollywood director Venky Atluri joined forces for the film Lucky Baskhar. It is set to hit the big screens on October 31 while paid premieres are scheduled on October 30. With the release date approaching, the makers launched the theatrical at a special event this evening.
The film tells the story of a man named Baskhar Kumar, who is in dire need of money. He is a bank employee who struggles to make ends meet. He has a wife (played by Meenakshi Chaudhary) and a son to take care of. With growing expenses and the burden of loans, Baskhar does something unlawfully, which makes him rich all of a sudden.
His wife, friends, and colleagues start doubting Baskhar, and we must wait a few more days to witness Baskhar’s journey in detail. The trailer is very interesting, and one aspect that catches our attention is the thought-provoking dialogues. Dulquer and Meenakshi keep saying that money is the only solution to all the problems, which makes the film relatable to middle-class people.
Dulquer’s portrayal as Baskhar, the production design recreating the 1980s Bombay, and the dialogues are the highlights of this trailer. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema, Lucky Baskhar also features Manasa Choudhary in another pivotal role. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes.
