Crazy and youthful entertainer Mad, starring Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, and Gopikaa Udyan, is hitting screens on October 6. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film is produced jointly by Haarika Suryadevara & Sai Soujanya under the banners of Haarika & Hassine Creations and Sithara Entertainments. Ahead of the film’s release, the lead actors, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, and Gopika Udyan, interacted with the media.

Sangeeth Shoban, who made a splash with Okka Chinna Family Story, is upbeat about the film’s release. He said that producer Naga Vamsi approached him, saying there was a hilarious story. Sangeeth said it has been very long since a movie like Mad came in Tollywood. Ram Nithin said that he acted in a web series named Hello World, and two days after its release, he got a call from Naga Vamsi.

Gopika Udyan said, “I am Malayali, settled in Dubai. I am debuting in Telugu with Mad. I have done a feature film in Malayalam with Asif Ali. I came into Mad through Instagram.” Sangeet Shoban said that the humor would have references of the popular culture of today’s world. Sangeeth said he is happy as his family has a good rapport with Prabhas.

Ram Nithin said the film is titled Mad because it has the humor that makes audiences go crazy. Sangeeth said that unless they bring out good energy, no one cares to watch a film starring three young chaps on the screen. Gopika said, “I play Radha, who comes from a small town to study at a city college. Radha and the character, played by Sangeeth, are childhood friends. They come to college for the first time. What kind of experiences they face during their college life is the gist of Mad.”

Gopika Udyan further said it was great to work, vibe, and talk with producer Haarika. The trio assured that the audiences would have a laugh riot in theatres. Also, the actors said that the youngsters can relate themselves to Mad in many sequences.
