Maharaja is Vijay Sethupathi’s new film, which has opened to a solid word of mouth in both Tamil and Telugu. We already reported that the Telugu version is doing well and more screens are being added with each passing day.
Now, the news is that Maharaja’s day two collections are better than day one. The crime thriller saw a huge jump in occupancy and also collections on Saturday, especially in the A centers. With the long weekend setting in and Monday being a holiday for Bakrid, things will surely get better for the film.
Vijay Sethupathi’s performance, the screenplay, and the twist in the climax are being talked about a lot. Word of mouth is only growing in Telugu states, and by the looks of it, Maharaja will be a profit venture in Telugu states. Watch this space for more updates.
