Mahesh Babu lauds Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam team

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, the small-budget family drama featuring popular character artiste Rao Ramesh in his first-ever film in a lead role, released on August 23 and received a decent response from critics. The film marked star director Sukumar’s wife Thabitha Sukumar’s debut as a film presenter.

This evening, actor Mahesh Babu, who never fails to appreciate good cinema, took to X and lauded Maruti Nagar Subramanyam’s team. “What a hilarious ride! #MaruthiNagarSubramanyam is one of the best family entertainers in recent times…Congratulations @ThabithaSukumar and the entire team,” tweeted the Superstar.

Maruti Nagar Subramanyam also featured Indraja and young actors Ankith Koyya and Ramya Pasupuleti in lead roles. The film was directed by Lakshman Karya and produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya.Mythri Movie Distribution LLP released the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
