Mathu Vadalara 2, the latest comedy outing from Tollywood, received decent reviews from critics, and the public response is also positive. This sequel stars Sri Simha, Satya, and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles and is directed by Ritesh Rana. All those who saw the film are praising Satya to the sky. The movie started on a very good note at the USA box office.

Impressively, Mathu Vadalara’s day one USA numbers are quite similar to its premieres, which is a solid feat. As of now, the mad-cap entertainer raked in over $300K in this territory. Looking at the premieres gross, the film looked like entering the half-million-dollar club, but at this pace, it should be a walk in the park to breach the million-dollar mark.

Lately, small-budget films are doing pretty well in the USA. The expansion of the Telugu diaspora in this territory can be viewed as the main reason behind this. Leading Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled this crazy entertainer. Rohini Molleti, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Jhansi, and others played significant roles.
