Icon Star Allu Arjun’s brother, Allu Sirish, stars in Buddy, written and directed by Sam Anton. The film, which also features Gayatri Bhardwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh, premiered in theaters on August 2, 2024.
Netflix has announced that Buddy will be available for streaming on August 30, 2024, just four weeks after its theatrical release. The film will be offered in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, though there is no update on a Hindi version. After a lackluster performance in theaters, it will be interesting to see how the film fares with OTT audiences.
The cast includes Ajmal Amir, Mukesh Rishi, and Mohammed Ali. Produced by Studio Green Films Private Limited, the film features music by Hiphop Tamizha. Stay tuned for more updates.
