Amid high expectations, Kalki 2898 AD, the pan-Indian film starring globally renowned actors Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 27, 2024.

Set in Kashi, the last city remaining in the world, people are struggling for necessities like food and water. The ruling Complex controls everything, causing immense suffering among the populace. Meanwhile, Ashwatthama, played by Amitabh Bachchan, seeks to revive a power lost 6,000 years ago to change the world’s fate. With the help of a civilian, played by Deepika Padukone, Ashwatthama attempts to bring a child to life who can transform the world.
However, Bhairava, a bounty hunter played by Prabhas, is offered 1 million units to capture Deepika Padukone’s character and hand her over to the Complex. This creates a rift between Ashwatthama and Bhairava. Kamal Haasan plays the formidable villain in the story. How Bhairava supports Ashwatthama’s dream forms the crux of the plot.
