It’s well known that Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu will be lending his voice to Mufasa in Mufasa: The Lion King’s Telugu version. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on December 20. Ever since the news of Mahesh joining Mustafa: The Lion King was made official, there have been countless fan posters and videos prominently featuring Mahesh and Mufasa.

On Sunday evening, Walt Disney Pictures India’s official X page unveiled a striking new poster featuring Mahesh and Mufasa. “When @urstrulyMahesh s̶p̶e̶a̶k̶s̶ ROARS, the pride listens,” reads the announcement. Mahesh’s striking look makes the poster an instant favorite of his fans.

Mufasa: The Lion King is directed by Barry Jenkins and produced under Walt Disney Pictures. The film will release on a huge number of screens in India on December 20. On the work front, Mahesh is currently prepping for his role in numero uno director SS Rajamouli’s soon-to-commence action adventure, tentatively titled SSMB29.
