Young Tamil filmmaker Atlee has made a sensational debut in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan’s recently released action drama, Jawan. The film has smashed several box office records and collected over Rs 1,100 crore worldwide so far to emerge as the all-time highest grosser in Bollywood.
Following Jawan’s historic success, there has been a lot of speculation around Atlee’s next project. Recently, Atlee stated that he is planning a multi-starrer featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Tamil star Vijay. The statement has left the fans of both the stars thrilled. Now, Atlee went on to make yet another crazy statement in a latest interview.
When asked about his next project, Atlee said that Jawan has collected more than Rs 1,100 crore and that his next project should collect at least Rs 3,000 crore. “For this to happen, I must cast both Shah Rukh sir and Vijay sir,” Atlee said. Incidentally, Atlee was in news recently for a possible collaboration with top Telugu hero Allu Arjun. Whether he will direct the Pushpa actor first or the SRK-Vijay multi-starrer will be known next year.
