Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most high-budget and prestigious Tollywood movies in the making. It stars the pan-Indian star Prabhas and is directed by Nag Ashwin, with Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

Director Nag Ashwin participated in the VFX Summit 2023, which began today in Hyderabad. During the event, he shared an interesting detail about Kalki 2898 AD. He explained that his initial goal was to manage the entire VFX work within India, inspired by the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Nag Ashwin further revealed that although the goal wasn’t fully achieved, a significant portion of the VFX work for Kalki 2898 AD has already been completed in India. He also expressed his commitment to ensuring that all VFX work for his next project will be executed within the country.

This grand production features prominent actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and others in significant roles.
