Thandel is Naga Chaitanya’s prestigious and costliest project. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead, and Chandoo Mondeti directs it. Bunny Vasu is producing the movie on a high budget, and Allu Aravind is presenting it under the Geetha Arts banner.
Today, Naga Chaitanya shared a still from the movie, which depicts him in a rustic get-up. He wore a vest and black pants with a red towel around his neck. With a rope in his hand and standing in the boat, Chaitanya is seen flashing a charismatic smile, though he appears massy with messy hair and a thick beard.
Chay underwent hard training for the character of a fisherman. Besides undergoing a physical makeover, he worked rigorously to get the Srikakulam dialect right. Thandel is based on real-life incidents. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad provides the music while Shamdat cranks the camera.
