We already reported that Naga Chaitanya will join hands with Virupaksha director Karthik Dandu. Marking the actor’s birthday today, the makers gave the official announcement with an intriguing poster. It showcases a weird eye with the protagonist seen standing on a rock with rock climbing tools on his back. The project, tentatively NC24, will fall under the genre of mystical thriller, similar to that of Virupaksha.

Virupaksha is Karthik Dandu’s second film as a director. The young filmmaker made heads turn with this flick, which starred Sai Durgha Tej and Samyukta in the lead roles. The movie gave a new lease of life to Sai Durgha Tej’s career, emerging as a box office blockbuster with about Rs. 100 crores gross.

Naga Chaitanya and Karthik Dandu’s collaboration promises to create yet another sensation at the box office. With Karthik’s storytelling and Chaitanya’s presence, expectations for the film are soaring. NC24 will be a PAN Indian film produced jointly by BVSN Prasad and genius filmmaker Sukumar under the banners of SVCC and Sukumar Writings. Ajaneesh Loknath will compose the tunes.

NC24 will be made on a huge budget with top-notch production values. It is said that the film will have heavy CG work to bring out some visually challenging scenes and deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for the audience. Shamdat ISC will handle the cinematography, while Naveen Nooli will oversee the editing. Art director Sri Nagendra is part of this prestigious project.
