Hero Nani had won everyone’s hearts with his impeccable performances in two of his most acclaimed movies of his career, Dasara and Hi Nanna, that were released in 2023. The Natural Star is now eyeing top honors at the prestigious 69th Sobha Filmfare South and 12th SIIMA Awards.
The nominations for the Filmfare and SIIMA Awards for 2023 were announced recently, and Dasara and Hi Nanna have secured the highest nominations. While Dasara is ruling the list with 8 Filmfare and 11 SIIMA nominations, Hi Nanna has grabbed 8 Filmfare and 10 SIIMA nominations, respectively.
Apart from Nani, who has been nominated for the Best Actor category for Dasara and Hi Nanna, the leading ladies of both movies, Keerthy Suresh and Mrunal Thakur, directors Srikanth Odela and Shouryuv, music composers Santhosh Narayanan and Hesham Abdul Wahab, respectively, have been nominated along with other talented artistes and technicians for major categories.
The 69th Sobha Filmfare Awards South will be held in Hyderabad on August 3. On the other hand, the 12th SIIMA Awards will be held in Dubai on September 14 and 15 at the WTC, Dubai.
