Ramoji Rao, the founder of Eenadu Group, passed away this morning while undergoing treatment in a private hospital. The media baron had been suffering from age-related health issues for a long time. Several celebrities are mourning the death of Ramoji Rao.
Country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his Twitter and expressed his grief. Modi wrote,” The passing away of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionized Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the world of films. Through his noteworthy efforts, he set new standards for innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world.”
Modi further added, “Ramoji Rao Garu was extremely passionate about India’s development. I am fortunate to have got several opportunities to interact with him and benefit from his wisdom. Condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers during this difficult time. Om Shanti”
NDA Convenor and TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu also expressed his condolences through a tweet. The update regarding Ramoji Rao’s final rites is yet to be disclosed. Ramoji Rao’s grandson has started from USA and he will be reaching Hyderabad late today.
