Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has recently announced the prequel to his blockbuster film Bimbisara. Meanwhile, his other movie, NKR 21, directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, is making headlines once again.
The team has officially revealed that the climax of NKR 21 has been completed. This crucial segment was filmed over thirty days on a specially constructed set on the outskirts of Hyderabad. To achieve the dramatic and immersive environment required for this pivotal scene, the filmmakers invested significantly, with the climax alone costing an impressive Rs. 8 crore. This represents the highest expenditure for a single episode in Kalyan Ram’s career, underscoring the grandeur and scale of the sequence.
Brahma Kadali, renowned for his elaborate and visually captivating set designs, was responsible for the set design. The action choreography, which ensures thrilling and meticulously executed fight scenes and stunts, was overseen by Ramakrishna. The climax sequence features not only the prominent cast but also nearly 1,000 artists who participated in the shoot. This substantial investment in both financial and creative resources highlights the importance of this segment in the film’s overall narrative.
Veteran actress Vijayashanthi will portray an IPS officer in the film, which also stars Sohail Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, and Srikanth in key roles, adding significant depth to the story.
Produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu under the banners of Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts and presented by Muppa Venkaiah Chowdary, the film features a stellar lineup of technicians.
