Thalapathy Vijay’s The GOAT is setting the box office on fire. The action drama directed by Venkat Prabhu already surpassed the Rs. 300 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office and is inching towards the Rs.400 crores. Vijay essayed dual roles as father and son. While Meenakshi Chaudhary played the romantic interest of young Vijay, Sneha played the better half of father Vijay.

In a recent interview, director Venkat Prabhu revealed that he initially approached Nayanthara for Vijay’s wife role, but later, he cast Sneha. Venkat Prabhu said, “Nayanthara mam called me after watching the movie. She liked the film very much and said Sneha mam did a wonderful job. She further told me that no one could have done it better than Sneha mam.”

This revelation by the director surprised the netizens. Prabhudeva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Mohan, Ajmal, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, and Aakash Aravindh played crucial roles. Produced by Archana Kalapathi, Kalapathi Ganesh, and Kalapathi Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment, the film’s music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
