Venkatesh is all set to entertain audiences with the fun thriller Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The movie, directed by Anil Ravipudi, features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. The theatrical trailer was launched yesterday, and it is getting a good response. During the promotions, Anil Ravipudi revealed that he initially planned to make Sankranthiki Vasthunam with Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Anil Ravipudi said, “I was supposed to do a film with Dil Raju Garu. After a serious subject like Bhagavath Kesari, I wanted to return to my strong zone, comedy. Also, I wanted the film to be different from F2 and F3. This is when a thought struck my mind. What if a person goes on an adventure with his wife and ex-girlfriend?”

Anil Ravipudi added, “Initially, I thought of doing this film with Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu, but he was busy with other projects. My plan is to release this film for Sankranthi, and hence I approached Venky Garu. I just narrated the outline to Chiranjeevi Garu.”

Anil Ravipudi added, “This subject excited me so much. It could be done either with a senior hero or a young hero. The screenplay would have been different if it had been a young hero. Venky Garu shares a solid wavelength with me, and hence, the shooting process was very comfortable. Luckily, I am doing another film with Chiranjeevi Garu.”
