Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming film Bhakshak is releasing directly on Netflix on February 9. The announcement was made today, and a teaser was also dropped by the team. Bhumi Pednekar plays an investigative journalist who tries to reveal a heinous crime committed against girls. The movie is based on real-life events.
Bhakshak is directed by Pulkit. The director stated that they want to shed light on the harsh realities of society and stimulate conversations that will lead to meaningful change. Sanjay Mishra, Sai Tamhankar, and Aditya Srivastava are playing vital roles.
The investigative crime thriller is produced by Gauri Khan and Gauri Verma under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Bhakshak marks the return of Red Chillies Entertainment to the digital space after the blockbuster Darlings, which featured Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
