Venkatesh made his digital debut with the web series Rana Naidu. The show is special since Venky acted alongside Rana Daggubati. Rana Naidu is the official adaptation of the American crime drama TV series Ray Danda. The series took the audience by surprise for its coarse language and explicit content.

Venkatesh is a favorite among family audience and hence they were shocked to see the renowned actor in a series like Rana Naidu. After the show started trending on Netflix, many comments were made criticizing the Daggubati family. There is a second installment, too, and recently, Rana made an interesting revelation.

Rana said, “We actually prepared the audience in advance. We told everyone not to watch the show with family. Nobody listened to us. Rana Naidu is about young boys who were molested. It’s a sad story. Only when we tell that in a loud manner everyone will watch it.”

Rana added, “We broke some conventions and boundaries with the show. We finished shooting for season 2. This time, the content and language are more tamed than the earlier installment.” There is no clarity about the streaming date yet.
