Christopher Nolan’s recent film Oppenheimer turned out to be another path-breaking movie. Peaky Blinders fame Cillian Murphy played the lead role in Oppenheimer. It is a biographical film on Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb. The film is based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The movie received a fantastic response from critics and audiences.

Despite being R-rated, Oppenheimer raked in nearly 1 billion dollars at the global box office. The movie has once again become a talking point by scoring 13 nominations at the 96th Academy Awards. Here are the categories in which the movie is nominated.
