Having joined Prime Video two years ago, Padma Kasturirangan had the privilege of working with some of the most talented creators to build a compelling slate of Telugu content.

Padma began her career after completing her film course at New York University. She started in Hyderabad with Annapurna Film School and soon moved to Tamada Media, where she led the long-form wing, creating and overseeing several regional originals. She also had a brief stint at ZEE5, managing the Telugu originals slate, before transitioning to Prime Video.

At Prime Video, Padma has been instrumental in developing a full slate of shows and movies set for launch, including the recent phenomenal success of The Rana Daggubati Show.

Looking ahead, she’s excited to scale the Originals program in Tamil and Telugu, with a thrilling lineup in the works. Her journey at Prime Video has been rewarding, with a focus on nurturing new markets and building a diverse, rich content slate. She expresses deep gratitude to Nikhil Madhok, Gaurav Gandhi, and James Farrell for the trust they’ve placed in her. Padma is eager to continue developing engaging stories and unforgettable characters for South Indian audiences.
