Film star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest at the Game Changer pre-release event that just concluded in Rajahmundry. Pawan Kalyan started his speech by paying tributes to some of Indian and Telugu cinema’s legendary filmmakers and actors. Pawan also said that his brother, Megastar Chiranjeevi, is the force behind him and Ram Charan. “You call me Kalyan Babu or OG or Deputy CM, it’s all because of my brother Chiranjeevi,” said the Power Star.

Talking about Game Changer director Shankar, Pawan said that he watched Shankar’s Gentleman and Premikudu by buying tickets in black in Chennai. “He always delivers social messages through his movies. Telugu audiences always welcomed Shankar sir’s movies. I always wanted him to make a direct film in Telugu,” Pawan added. He went on to say that Game Changer producer Dil Raju had distributed his Tholi Prema and that the remuneration he had paid for Vakeel Saab had acted like fuel to run his Janasena Party.

Talking about his nephew and Game Changer hero Ram Charan, Pawan said, “Hanuman ji is always seen at Lord Rama’s feet, and that’s why my father had named him Ram Charan after our family deity Lord Hanuman. Despite possessing immense strength, Lord Hanuman was always humble. Ram Charan is like Hanuman ji. My brother Chiranjeevi is like a father figure for me. I treat Ram Charan not as my nephew but as my younger brother. He has been very disciplined since his childhood, while I was wasting my precious time. As an elder brother, I bless him with an abundance of success with Game Changer. I hope Game Changer will smash the box office in the new year,” said Pawan Kalyan.

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, Jayaram, Samuthirakani, and others played key roles in Game Changer. The film has a soundtrack composed by Thaman, and it’s gearing up for its theatrical release on January 10.
