Pawan Kalyan requests OG and HHVM makers to postpone b’day announcements

Leading film star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is celebrating his birthday today. To make this special occasion even more memorable for fans, the makers of Power Star’s highly anticipated gangster drama, OG, have planned to unveil the film’s first single release date along with a special poster tomorrow.

However, OG’s team took to X on Sunday night and announced that they have cancelled all the announcements scheduled for tomorrow due to the incessant rains and flood conditions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. “OG is a film that will be celebrated for years to come. Let’s get through this together and celebrate in a big way soon,” wrote the makers. In another tweet while replying to a fan, the OG’s team hinted that the birthday announcements have been postponed following a request from Pawan Kalyan. The new announcement date will be revealed very soon.

OG also features Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi and young actress Priyanka Mohan in lead roles. Being directed by Sujeeth, this high-budget entertainer is being produced by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainment banner. Thaman is scoring the soundtrack. The film will be hitting theaters worldwide on March 27, 2025.

Meanwhile, the makers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu have announced that they will not release any special updates today to celebrate Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, in light of the natural calamity that has shaken the Telugu states. The updates will be revealed at a later time.
