Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is adored by millions, not just because of his films, but also for the kind of efforts he puts in consistently for the welfare of the people. The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is now busy overseeing the flood relief works. Pawan Kalyan announced a donation of Rs. 1 crore each to the AP CM Relief Fund and TS CM Relief Fund.
Additionally, Pawan Kalyan announced a donation of Rs. 4 crores to the flood relief works in Andhra Pradesh. This amount will be allotted to the 400 flood-hit panchayats in the state. At a press interaction, Pawan Kalyan said, “I felt Rs. 1 crore wouldn’t be sufficient looking at the kind of destruction caused by floods. Hence, I am pledging another Rs. 4 crores to 400 panchayats affected by floods.”
Pawan Kalyan further said, ” Our neighboring state, Telangana, was also impacted by floods. Hence, I am announcing Rs. 1 crore to the TS CM Relief Fund. I will meet Revanth Reddy Garu in person and hand over the amount. For those who are criticizing me for not coming out, I want them to join me in my convoy. Only then will they understand the scenario. I thank the film celebrities for being generous and supportive in these tough times.”
