Film star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s period gangster drama, OG, is one of his three most-awaited projects that have been put on hold ever since he got busy in politics. Even though Pawan may return to shootings in September, he will wrap up his long-delayed Hari Hara Veera Mallu first, while the makers of OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh will have to wait a bit longer to secure Pawan’s dates.

Meanwhile, young actress Priyanka Mohan, who plays Pawan Kalyan’s love interest in OG, has given a crucial update on the film’s current status. During the promotions of her soon-to-release action drama, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Priyanka revealed that a major portion of OG’s shoot has been wrapped up already and that only 10 days of shoot is remaining before the film enters the post-production phase.

OG has Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi in a negative role. The film marks Emraan’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The Sujeeth directorial is being produced by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainment banner. Thaman is scoring the soundtrack.
