‘Peechu Mithay’ song from Dhanush’s Raayan to be out at this time

The first single from Kollywood star Dhanush’s highly-anticipated second directorial, Raayan, was released on May 9. Titled Thala Vanchi Eragade (Adangaatha Asuran in Tamil), the AR Rahman composition was received well by music lovers. And the stage is all set for the launch of Raayan’s second song.

Raayan’s second single is titled ‘Peechu Mithay’. As the title suggests, the song is a romantic number and it features young actors Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balamurali. Peechu Mithay will be released at 6 pm this evening. The promos for Peechu Mithay that have been unveiled so far have generated a decent buzz around the song. The song’s Tamil and Hindi versions, titled Water Packet and Mood Kirkira respectively, will also be launched at the same time.

Raayan is an intense action drama set in the North Madras milieu. The film marks Dhanush’s 50th project in his career. Leading production house Sun Pictures is bankrolling this prestigious project. The film also features SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and others in key roles. The film is slated for release on June 13.
