Arshad Warsi’s comments about Prabhas’ character in Kalki 2898 AD didn’t sit well with the latter’s fans, who started to troll the Hindi actor. Natural Star Nani has now landed in an unwanted mess by reacting to Arshad Warsi’s comments while promoting his upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

Nani said that Arshad Warsi is getting the biggest publicity in his life and that the media is glorifying an unimportant matter. The Hindi audience trolled Nani on social media due to this statement. In an interview with a Bollywood media outlet, Nani clarified his comment against the Munna Bhai MBBS actor. Nani said it was a case of lost in translation.

Nani stated, “My reaction was natural and out of my admiration for Prabhas. But my perspective changed when I watched the full video of Arshad Warsi. The whole thing has been blown out of proportion through media, including my reaction. Initially, I saw only the cut clips that were all over social media. Actors should be careful while giving opinions publicly.”

Nani added, “Arshad Warsi is a good actor, and the whole of India loves his character in Munna Bhai MBBS. As actors, we need to be more cautious with our choice of words. Both he and I are victims. This is a digital age, and no comment by a celebrity is small to react to. Actors need to own up to their mistakes. It sounds so bad when something is not translated correctly. My choice of words were also poor.”

Nani also said, “Arshad is free to give his opinion, but his words should have been better. Even though Kalki collected 1000 crores, it doesn’t mean everyone should like it. Everyone can share their opinion, but the choice of words needs to be better. Let’s stop taking social media wars seriously. Tomorrow, I might run into Arshad Warsi Ji, and we might hug each other.”
