Mathu Vadalara 2, the much-awaited sequel to the super hit crime comedy, Mathu Vadalara, is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 13. The film features young actors Sri Sinha and Faria Abdullah in lead roles, while popular comedians Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Satya, and others will be seen in pivotal roles.

Hero Sri Simha recently interacted with the media to promote Mathu Vadalara 2 and shared several interesting tidbits about the movie. He said that the sequel offers double the fun, thrill, and action compared to its prequel. He went to reveal that it was his and the film’s producer Cherry’s idea to make a sequel, and that director Ritesh Rana began writing last year and came up with an exciting script eventually.

“Mathu Vadalara 2 is all about how the small-time delivery boys transform into ‘He Team Agents’. We completed the entire film without making any announcements. Seeing the massive craze for the movie, our strategy to make a surprise announcement and create buzz seems to have worked in our favor. In addition to the murder and drug tracks that were shown in the first part, the sequel explores more interesting layers. We are planning special premieres ahead of the movie’s release,” said the young hero.

Talking about Prabhas and Rajamouli’s reactions after watching the trailer, Sri Simha said, “Prabhas garu and Rajamouli garu thoroughly enjoyed the trailer. Prabhas garu catered us his valuable time because he genuinely liked the trailer. Rajamouli garu is very happy with the overall output.”

Sri Simha went on to reveal that plans are on to turn Mathu Vadalara into a franchise. Mathu Vadalara 2 is bankrolled by Cherry and Hemalatha Pedamallu under the Clap Entertainments banner. Leading Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers is presenting the movie.
