Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has hit the big screens today amidst sky-high expectations. The movie created history by registering over Rs. 150 crores just through advance bookings. Especially the Hindi version is competing with the Telugu version in terms of collections.
This Sukumar’s directorial now eyes two massive day one records in Bollywood. The movie is aiming to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan day one record (65.5 crores nett) to become the biggest opener of all time. Jawan was released on a public holiday on account of Janmashtami.
Pushpa 2 also targets to score the all-time highest non-holiday opening by crossing Animal, which collected Rs. 54.75 cr nett.
