Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Pushpa The Rule, is slated for its world theatrical release on December 5. Following the prequel’s critical and commercial success, all eyes are on the sequel. And thanks to the humongous hype and craze, Pushpa 2 has inked never-before pre-release deals with Rs 1,100 crore.
Meanwhile, with less than a month before the film’s release, fans have received a huge jolt. As per the latest rumors, star music composer Thaman has replaced the film’s orginal composer Devi Sri Prasad for background score. The rumors further have it that DSP, who won the prestigious National Award for Best Music Direction (Songs) for Pushpa The Rise, failed to impress Allu Arjun and director Sukumar with his BGM for Pushpa 2. This reportedly prompted the actor-director duo to entrust Thaman with the job of Pushpa 2’s BGM.
Needless to say, fans are anxiously awaiting clarification from the makers regarding this sudden development. We will have to wait until Mythri Movie Makers comes up with a formal announcement regarding the film’s background score.
Also starring Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, Pushpa The Rule is hitting theaters in multiple Indian languages. The film’s theatrical trailer is expected to be released on November 15, while the 6-city pan-Indian promotional tour will kick off this month end.
