The recently released Hollywood animation movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has made good money at the box office both domestically and worldwide. If you have watched the movie, you may have seen the Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar, who lives in Mumbai.

In a recent Tumblr blog post, an anonymous user asked the animator behind the character, “What do you think the coolest thing you got to work on in the new Spider-Verse was? Or was there anything you were completely excited to work on/with?” In response, the animator explained how he animated the character and also mentioned why he watched India’s biggest action drama, RRR, to design the character.

He wrote, “My first pass on this didn’t have that close-up of the bracelet at first, and our Animation Director, Bob Persichetti, felt like we couldn’t read it well enough and mentioned trying some crazier slow-motion stuff like in RRR. So I went and watched RRR and immediately understood what I needed to do, lol.”

The RRR team and Tollywood fans felt happy to know that the global blockbuster RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, is inspiring many technicians across the globe. Keep watching this space for more engaging content.
