Actor Ram Charan will be romancing Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor in his next project, tentatively titled RC16. The film will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. Sandalwood star Shivarajkumar plays a key role in the movie.

During a recent promotional event for Hero Motocorp, the popular automobile company that he endorses, Charan unintentionally revealed that his next film with Buchi Babu will be high on comedy. Just when the anchor asked him if he had dropped a big hint, Charan quickly assured her and also himself that he didn’t reveal the film’s story.

And Charan’s revelation has left his fans excited and amused at the same time. Mega fans are eager to see Charan portraying comedy on the big screen after a long time. On the other hand, his casual slip about RC16 being high on comedy has reminded fans of Charan’s father, Megastar Chiranjeevi. Like Charan, even Chiru had revealed crucial info about his and others’ movies on several occasions in the past. Amused Mega fans are taking to social media and discussing how Charan is an exact replica of his father.

RC16 also has a sports backdrop. The film’s music sessions kick-started in Dubai a couple of weeks ago. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is scoring the soundtrack for this highly-anticipated project. Venkata Satish Kilaru is bankrolling the project under his Vriddhi Cinemas banner in association with Sukumar Writings.
