Ranbir’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar – Makers adopt this strategy to attract south audiences

Ranbir Kapoor, who recently became a father, will next feature in the romantic comedy Tu Joothi Main Makkar. Ranbir is very good at rom-coms, and he had good hits like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani in this genre. Hence fans are expecting the star actor to repeat the same with Tu Joothi Main Makkar.

A representative of YRF Films, which is distributing this Ranbir’s flick, has confirmed that the film will be played with English subtitles in all cinema halls in the Southern states. Previously there used to be subtitles for every Hindi flick, but of late, they are being added only for selective movies.

A few viewers who are not comfortable with the language might prefer to watch Hindi flicks, and the lack of subtitles might make them stay away from going to the theatres. So the distributor has rightly concentrated on this segment now, and this strategy might draw in a sizeable number of viewers.

To note, Pathaan’s Hindi version was also played with English subtitles down south. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the rom-com has the mesmerizing beauty queen Shraddha Kapoor as the love lady of Ranbir. Tu Jhooti Main Makkar releases on 8th March 2023 on account of Holi.
