Actress Rashmika Mandanna has scored a memorable hit with Varisu (Varasudu), her second Tamil film. Also starring Kollywood superstar Vijay, the film is setting the box office on fire across Tamil Nadu and other major areas abroad this Pongal season.

In a recent interview, Rashmika gave an update on the most eagerly awaited action drama, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The young actress has revealed that she will be commencing the shoot from February, and that she is excitedly looking forward to joining the shoot. In the prequel, Pushpa: The Rise, Rashmika was seen in the role of a village belle named Srivalli, and her chemistry with the film’s hero Allu Arjun was one of the highlights of the movie.

Rashmika currently has several exciting projects in her kitty. Her second Bollywood movie, Mission Majnu, will be having a direct Netflix release on January 20. Rashmika will also be seen in a lead role in Ranbir Kapoor’s gangster drama, Animal, which is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is slated to release in August.
