Megastars Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan will together be seen in the political action thriller GodFather, which releases on October 5th in major Indian languages. The Hindi trailer event happened today in Mumbai and was attended by Chiru, Salman, Satyadev, Mohan Raja, and the producers.
Speaking at the event, Salman Khan recalled the incident when he and Chiranjeevi met in Mumbai after doing a commercial. Salman jokingly said there is a casting couch since Chiru slept on his couch at that time and as he now got a chance to act alongside Chiru. The Bollywood actor said that when Chiru Garu told him that there was a small role in GodFather, he just told the Tollywood actor to make him stand behind Chiru.
Salman said that Chiru gave him a noble role and added that it is the love they both have towards cinema. The actor also revealed how Ram Charan came on board to play a cameo in his movie, which also stars Venkatesh. While they were shooting, Charan came to see them and thus asked Salman if he could do a role.
Salman initially said no, but Charan was stubborn about doing it, and the next day, he came to the shoot with his costumes on. Salman Khan also stated that he has no hesitancy about doing south movies, and the multi-starrer culture will help increase the cinema business.
